【摘要】:Thistestmethodmaybeusedtosoiltestspecimensintheabsenceofabrasivewearandtexturechangesundercontrolledconditionsusingastandardsyntheticsoil,orasapreliminarysteptootherprocedures.Thistestmethodwillprovideauniformlysoiledtestspecimentoevaluate,isreproducible(seesection11),andiseconomicalforTestingLaboratories.Thistestmethodhasbeenfoundtogiveresultssimilartotheactualfloorservicesoiling,butitsuseisrecommendedonlyasascreeningtestmethodandnotasareplacementforfloortesting.Theacceptancecriteriaofthistestmethodshallbesetbymutualagreementbetweenthepurchaserandsupplier.1.1Thistestmethoddescribestheequipment,andthetestmethodforassessingthepropensityofpileyarnfloorcoveringstosoilingintheabsenceofabrasivewearandtexturechanges,usingastandardsyntheticsoilcomposition.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicableforuseintestingunusedpileyarnfloorcoveringofalltypes.Itisnotapplicableforuseintestingusedpileyarnfloorcovering.1.3Thistestmethodcanbeusedtocomparethesoilingpropensityoftwoormorecarpets;oritcanbeusedtosoilcarpetsasapreliminarysteptoothertestprocedures.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesisareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
