【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversunpigmented,unsupported,low-densitypolyethylenefilms(hereafterreferredtoasfilmorfilms)fromClass1polyethylenesperSpecificationD4976.Note1-Thedensityofafilmwillnotnecessarilybeequaltothedensityofamoldedplaquefromthesameresin.Note2-Blendsofethylene/vinylacetate(EVA)withlow-densitypolyethylenemayhavedensitiesupto0.929g/cm.Thisspecificationisapplicabletohomopolymerpolyethylene,butisnotrestrictedtoit.Itisapplicabletofilmsmadefrompolyethylenecopolymers,andalsoapplicabletofilmsmadefromblendsofhomopolymersandcopolymers,includingethylene/vinylacetatecopolymers.Thethicknessofthefilmscoveredbythisspecificationis100?morless(0.004in.orless),inclusive.Themaximumwidthofthesheetorlayflatis3.00m(120in.).Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverorientedheat-shrinkablefilms.Thisspecificationallowsfortheuseofrecycledpolyethylenefilmorresinasfeedstock,inwholeorinpart,aslongasalloftherequirementsofthisspecificationaremetandaslongasanyspecificrequirementsasgovernedbytheproducerandenduserarealsomet.(SeeNote3.)Note3-GuideD7209describesterminologyanddefinitionsrelatedtorecycledplastics.Thisspecificationdefinesthelevelsofthevariousphysicalpropertiesfromwhichspecificationsforspecificfilmsmaybedescribed.ThelevelsofphysicalpropertiesrequiredbyafilmforagivenapplicationareselectedfromSection6.However,Sections2-5relatingtotolerancesshallapplywithoutchangetoallfilmfallingwithinthescopeindicatedbythetitleand1.1-1.4.Thisspecificationcoversdimensionaltolerances,classifications,intrinsicqualityrequirements,andtestmethods.Thedimensionaltolerancesincludethickness,width,andlengthoryield.Classificationdefinestypes,classes,surfaces,andfinishes.Theintrinsicqualityrequirementsincludedensity,workmanship,tensilestrength,heatsealability,andodor,aswellastheclassificationpropertiesforimpactstrength,coefficientoffriction,opticalproperties,andsurfacetreatment.Asamplingmethodisincluded.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section10,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note4-ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOspecification.
