【摘要】:Thisstandardprovidescommonelementsforbasictime-criticalandnon-time-criticalmessagingcommunicationsbetweenapplicationprogramsinanautomationenvironmentandmaterialspecifictoType20fieldbus.Theterm“time-critical”isusedtorepresentthepresenceofatime-window,withinwhichoneormorespecifiedactionsarerequiredtobecompletedwithsomedefinedlevelofcertainty.Failuretocompletespecifiedactionswithinthetimewindowrisksfailureoftheapplicationsrequestingtheactions,withattendantrisktoequipment,plantandpossiblyhumanlife.ThisstandarddefinesinanabstractwaytheexternallyvisiblebehaviorprovidedbytheType20ofthefieldbusApplicationLayerintermsofa)theabstractsyntaxdefiningtheapplicationlayerprotocoldataunitsconveyedbetweencommunicatingapplicationentities,b)thetransfersyntaxdefiningtheapplicationlayerprotocoldataunitsconveyedbetweencommunicatingapplicationentities,c)theapplicationcontextstatemachinedefiningtheapplicationservicebehaviorvisiblebetweencommunicatingapplicationentities;andd)theapplicationrelationshipstatemachinesdefiningthecommunicationbehaviorvisiblebetweencommunicatingapplicationentities;and.Thepurposeofthisstandardistodefinetheprotocolprovidedtodefine1)thewire-representationoftheserviceprimitivesdefinedinIEC61158-5-20,and2)theexternallyvisiblebehaviorassociatedwiththeirtransfer.ThisstandardspecifytheprotocoloftheType20IECfieldbusapplicationlayer,inconformancewiththeOSIBasicReferenceModel(ISO/IEC7498)andtheOSIApplicationLayerStructure(ISO/IEC9545).TheprincipalobjectiveofthisstandardistospecifythesyntaxandbehavioroftheapplicationlayerprotocolthatconveystheapplicationlayerservicesdefinedinIEC61158-5-20.Asecondaryobjectiveistoprovidemigrationpathsfrompreviously-existingindustrialcommunicationsprotocols.ItisthislatterobjectivewhichgivesrisetothediversityofprotocolsstandardizedinIEC61158-6.
