【摘要】:Thisstandardappliestotheclassificationofdegreesofprotectionprovidedbyenclosuresforelectricalequipmentwitharatedvoltagenotexceeding72,5kV.Theobjectofthisstandardistogive:a)Definitionsfordegreesofprotectionprovidedbyenclosuresofelectricalequipmentasregards:1)protectionofpersonsagainstaccesstohazardouspartsinsidetheenclosure;2)protectionoftheequipmentinsidetheenclosureagainstingressofsolidforeignobjects;3)protectionoftheequipmentinsidetheenclosureagainstharmfuleffectsduetotheingressofwater.b)Designationsforthesedegreesofprotection.c)Requirementsforeachdesignation.d)Teststobeperformedtoverifythattheenclosuremeetstherequirementsofthisstandard.Itwillremaintheresponsibilityofindividualtechnicalcommitteestodecideontheextentandmannerinwhich,theclassificationisusedintheirstandardsandtodefine"enclosure"asitappliestotheirequipment.However,itisrecommendedthatforagivenclassificationthetestsdonotdifferfromthosespecifiedinthisstandard.Ifnecessary,complementaryrequirementsmaybeincludedintherelevantproductstandard.AguideforthedetailstobespecifiedinrelevantproductstandardsisgiveninannexB.Foraparticulartypeofequipment,atechnicalcommitteemayspecifydifferentrequirementsprovidedthatatleastthesamelevelofsafetyisensured.Thisstandarddealsonlywithenclosuresthatareinallotherrespectssuitablefortheirintendeduseasspecifiedintherelevantproductstandardandwhichfromthepointofviewofmaterialsandworkmanshipensurethattheclaimeddegreesofprotectionaremaintainedunderthenormalconditionsofuse.Thisstandardisalsoapplicabletoemptyenclosuresprovidedthatthegeneraltestrequirementsaremetandthattheselecteddegreeofprotectionissuitableforthetypeofequipmenttobeprotected.Measurestoprotectboththeenclosureandtheequipmentinsidetheenclosureagainstexternalinfluencesorconditionssuchas-mechanicalimpacts-corrosion-corrosivesolvents(forexample,cuttingliquids)-fungus-vermin-solarradiation-icing-moisture(forexample,producedbycondensation)-explosiveatmospheresandtheprotectionagainstcontactwithhazardousmovingpartsexternaltotheenclosure(suchasfans),aremattersfortherelevantproductstandardtobeprotected.Barriersexternaltotheenclosureandnotattachedtoitandobstacleswhichhavebeenprovidedsolelyforthesafetyofpersonnelarenotconsideredasapartoftheenclosureandarenotdealtwithinthisstandard.
