【摘要】:Thequantitativedeterminationofolefinsinspark-ignitionenginefuelsisrequiredtocomplywithgovernmentregulations.Knowledgeofthetotalolefincontentprovidesameanstomonitortheefficiencyofcatalyticcrackingprocesses.ThistestmethodprovidesbetterprecisionforolefincontentthanTestMethodD1319.Italsoprovidesdatainamuchshortertime,approximately20minfollowingcalibration,andmaximizesautomationtoreduceoperatorlabor.ThistestmethodisnotapplicabletoM85orE85fuels,whichcontain85%methanolandethanol,respectively.1.1ThistestmethodprovidesforthequantitativedeterminationoftotalolefinsintheC4toC10rangeinspark-ignitionenginefuelsorrelatedhydrocarbonstreams,suchasnaphthasandcrackednaphthas.Olefinconcentrationsintherangefrom0.2to5.0liquid-volume%ormass%,orboth,canbedetermineddirectlyontheas-receivedsamplewhereasolefinsinsamplescontaininghigherconcentrationsaredeterminedafterappropriatesampledilutionpriortoanalysis.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletosamplescontainingalcoholsandethers;however,samplescontaininggreaterthan15%alcoholmustbediluted.Samplescontaininggreaterthan5.0%ethermustalsobedilutedtothe5.0%orlesslevel,priortoanalysis.Whenethyl-tert-butyletherispresent,onlyolefinsintheC4toC9rangecanbedetermined.1.3Thistestmethodcannotbeusedtodetermineindividualolefincomponents.1.4ThistestmethodcannotbeusedtodetermineolefinshavinghighercarbonnumbersthanC10.Note18212;PrecisionwasdeterminedonlyonsamplescontainingMTBEandethanol.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
